Who we are

Welcome to Equi Evasion, a horse riding ranch in Diabat, just outside Essaouira. Hassan El Ouali and his team have been passionate about horses since 2004, offering horseback riding experiences in Essaouira built on care and respect for both horses and riders.

At Equi Evasion, we provide well-maintained equipment to ensure comfort and safety for both riders and horses. Our stables are a proper home for our Arab-Barb stallions, who are treated with care and respect.

Our guides are experienced riders with a deep understanding of the local area. They're always ready to share their knowledge and take you through the landscapes that surround Essaouira.

Horseback riding is more than a recreational activity — it's a chance to connect with nature, spend real time outdoors, and come away with memories worth keeping. Whether you're an experienced rider or trying it for the first time, we have the right ride and horse for you.

    The heart and soul behind barn management. He lovingly cares for all the horses, keeps the barn spotless, and welcomes everyone with a warm smile.

    Hassan’s son, who grew up around horses and adores them like nothing else. His fun attitude makes him a fantastic guide for short and long rides—and yes, expect lots of great pictures when riding with him!

How to Find Us — Horse Riding in Diabat, near Essaouira

Directions from Essaouira : We are located 3 km from the medina of Essaouira, in the village of Diabat. Head south towards the road to Agadir. At the police station roundabout, turn right onto a paved track that leads directly to the village. Continue straight until you reach the village, where you will see our sign. Just after the bridge, take the first dirt track on your left. We are the first ranch on the right!

Directions from Ghazoua : When heading towards Essaouira, upon reaching the roundabout of the Sofitel golf, turn left. Continue following the road alongside the Sofitel until you reach the village of Diabat. At the roundabout in the village, head towards the bridge where you will see our sign on your right. Follow the sign and you will find us as the first ranch on the right!
