Discover our rides in Essaouira

Equi Evasion is a riding stable based in Essaouira, on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Founded in 2004, it has always focused on honest riding, small groups and a respectful way of working with horses.

We offer short rides of 1, 2 or 3 hours, day rides, sunset rides along the beach, as well as multi-day tours lasting between 2 and 5 days. All rides are guided and take place in private groups only, allowing us to adapt the pace, route and riding style to the riders.

Equi Evasion

Horse welfare and the quality of the experience come first. Our horses are well-trained and carefully looked after. We keep things simple and personal — no mass tourism, no fixed group schedules, no rushed programmes.

Equi Evasion stands for experience, local guides, and time in the saddle that feels real.

Equi Evasion

Open Multiday Treks 2026

In spring 2026, we open one multi-day trek for riders who want to join a journey without bringing their own group. This open date is designed for experienced riders who enjoy moving through landscapes over several days and sharing the road with like-minded travellers.

You’ll ride in a small group, camp outdoors in quiet places, and spend long days in the saddle — following inland tracks, crossing open backcountry and riding along the wild Atlantic coast.

Dates: 4-day Backcountry & Wild Coast Ride from 30 April to 3 May

This trek is for confident riders who feel at home in all gaits and are looking for real riding time, simple evenings outdoors and the shared rhythm that naturally develops on a multi-day journey.

A ride for advanced riders, no pre-formed group needed. If you’re solo and saddle-hungry, this one’s for you.
