Our short rides and sunset rides are a good introduction to horse riding in Essaouira. Our guides give you all the instructions you need and look after your safety throughout the ride. Explore the beaches, dunes, and forests around Essaouira on horseback.
If you're an experienced rider looking for more time in the saddle, our multi-day horse riding tours are for you. Ride through varied terrain along the Atlantic coast, from argan forest to open backcountry. Our guides know the trails well and will share insights into the local area as you ride.
At our stables, horse welfare comes first. Our horses are well-trained, healthy, and cared for by our team. We focus on a safe, calm connection between horse and rider for everyone.
When you ride with us, you’ll always have your own private group — whether you come alone, with family or friends. There won’t be any other guests joining, so you can fully relax and enjoy the ride at your own pace.
Weight limit
Our horses are Arab-Berber crossbreeds, standing between 145–160cm (57–63in). They are well-muscled, sure-footed, and built for the terrain — but they are not large horses.
We have a weight limit of 85kg / 187lbs for all rides. This is a firm limit, not a guideline. It exists because we take horse welfare seriously, and we'd rather be upfront than have anyone travel all the way to Morocco only to be turned away at the stable.
